A True Thing about Juggling
452 days is a long time…
…and yet here we are. Welcome back, assuming you have come back. Hope you like the new furnishings. Alas, the old site finally had to be put to pasture. I’ll miss the home page navigation, but the universe moves on and fate does not rest.
We return you to your regularly scheduled skroode, or so we intend to with the greatest of intent. Stop pressuring me already.
We begin this rebirth with…something different. An idea that’s been in the back of my mind for a while, some of those relatable (maybe) real world (mostly) anecdotes that might provide some interest (hopefully).
Jim. Where to start.
I’ve been thinking about Jim for a couple years now for Reasons. This is the first memory that came to mind, and keeps coming back. Who among us doesn’t have recollections of dust ups with friends between those teen years well into the mid-20s. Usually the dumbest of arguments, with the most ridiculous or banal of resolutions.
Jim and I worked it out in an unexpected way. Don’t get me wrong, we still got very heated when the Car Wars game was in full swing. (CAN a van do a BOOTLEGGER REVERSE??) But it was the last potential fork in the road.
Sleep well Jim. You earned it.
